MP9486AGN-Z Description

The MP9486A is a high voltage step-down switching regulator that can output up to 1A continuous current to the load. It integrates a high-voltage high-end MOSFET that provides a typical peak current limit of 3.5A. Its wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 100V is suitable for a variety of step-down applications and is ideal for automotive, industrial, and lighting applications. The hysteresis loop voltage control mode provides fast response to load jumps, and the MPS's unique feedback control scheme minimizes the number of external devices used. Switching frequencies up to 1MHz support the selection of small device sizes. Over-temperature and short-circuit protection (SCP) ensure stable and reliable operation, and the 170µA quiescent current allows for use in battery-powered applications.The MP9486A is available in a SOIC-8 package with a thermal pad.
